4-Sight Testing PROFILES sent home today

We're sending home a quick overview of your child's progress on the 4-Sight tests today. These 1-page information sheets should give you some insight into how your child is progressing on these important indicators. The 4-Sight Tests are designed to be an accurate indicator of how your child should do on the AIMS test in April if he or she continues to work and learn at their current rate.

There are 4 rankings possible on both the Reading and Math sections of the 4-Sight Tests:
  • Falls Far Behind = Your child's progress is currently not adequate; at this rate they will likely fall below most of the state's standards for fourth graders on the AIMS test in April.
  • Approaches = Your child is making good progress but has some distance to go; at this rate they will likely meet some, and fall below some, of the state's standards for fourth graders on the AIMS test in April.
  • Meets = Your child is currently meeting the state's standards for fourth graders; at this rate they will likely meet most of the standards on the AIMS test in April!
  • Exceeds = Your child has surpassed the state's standards for fourth graders! At this rate they will likely meet all of the standards on the AIMS test in April!
