Friendly reminder:
We will be walking to Sinagua Middle School on Wednesday, November 28. We will leave Knoles at 10:45 and return to Knoles no later than 2:00. A permission slip will not be necessary for this trip. Students can pack a lunch or buy lunch by using their FUSD school ID and putting the charge on their account just like they would do at Knoles. Finally, students will receive a complimentary Sinagua t-shirt to wear on Wednesday morning before we go. This will help identify them as a student in Mr. Coe's class.
Today we:
- Wrote a current event about the landing of the NASA Insight probe on Mars
- Reviewed and discussed the meaning/relevance of the illustrations in chapters 2 and 3 in Road to Freedom
- Read together from chapter 8 of Voyage of the Dawn Treader
- Continued our discussion of cause and effect in King Phillip's War in Social Studies
- Reviewed for our test on Thursday in Math
- Continued our investigations of mixtures in Science
