I was super pleased to see that all but two of our students returned to school today with both their Agendas and Coe's Buck envelopes in hand. That demonstrates pretty great responsibility for the first day of fifth grade.
However, I was somewhat discouraged to find that only one child's family had read, completed, and returned the contents of the fifth-grade team letter packet that went home last night. It's essential that we, as a fifth grade team, have that information in-hand ASAP. Likewise, without the photo release and fieldtrip contributions that we've asked for, it's going to be difficult for us to attend and faithfully document our field experiences this year. Please return the requested materials on Monday if at all possible. Thanks!

- Reviewed key vocabulary, meaning and intent of the Pledge of Allegiance
- Read together chapter 3 of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe
